Offlineabro el tema como ya salió el nuevo disco, gracias a la famosa su tienda de discos preferidas
bueno evergrey es una banda sueca de metal progre con un sonido bastante oscuro y letras bien depresivas, su primer álbum fue ahí de 1998

mis favoritos son el recreation day y el inner circle, siempre he pensado un poco que el sonido de la banda a lo largo de su historía es algo repetitiva igual en producción .. unos álbumes mejores que otros, pero si siento que no ha cambiado mucho
en este ultimo disco (de lo que he escuchado) si varían un poco siguiendo la tendencia de muchas bandas de tocar thrash, el disco sin ser un cambio radical si tiene un sonido más en esta tendencia, pero igual promete

Mae Evergrey tiene demasiadas Bolas!!! desde la primera vez que los escuché me dejó como
además me encantan las segundas voces en grabación donde aparece la esposa de Tom Englund (Karina Englund creo que se llama) la mae canta pichudísimo. Tom también tiene una voz super llamativa.

No hay duda que Tom es una de las mejores voces que existen en la actualidad.
No he tenido el placer de escuchar el mas reciente disco, pero ya lo hare

el disco es tuanis, pero siento que los maes están cayendo en un hueco creativo actualmente

no he oido todo el disco todavia, pero aqui encontre unos reviews:
During progressive rock's 1970s heyday, bands not only offered elaborate concept albums and extended works; there were also the singles. There were also the emotionally direct songs that went for hooks and immediacy -- for example, Pink Floyd's "Money," Kansas' "Carry on Wayward Son" and Yes' "Roundabout." And in the '80s, '90s and 2000s, that combination of elaborate songs on one hand and more emotionally direct songs on the other hand carried over to progressive metal. The material on Evergrey's Torn tends to go for directness and immediacy rather than being ultra-complicated or ultra-intellectual. Although the prog element is certainly present, this 2008 release isn't one of prog metal's cerebral, high-minded concept albums. Instead, the Swedish band -- whose 2008 lineup includes Tom S. Englund on lead vocals and guitar, Henrik Danhage on guitar, Michael Hakansson on bass, Rikard Zander on keyboards, and Jonas Ekdahl on drums -- brings plenty of ballsy metal bravado to hard-driving yet melodic offerings such as "In Confidence," "Nothing Is Erased," "When Kingdoms Fall," and "Fear." The songs are intricate and nuanced, but there is no denying the fact that Torn rocks aggressively and forcefully; in fact,Torn rocks harder than a lot of prog metal discs. Englund's vocals add to the intensity; he favors a gruff vocal style along the lines of David Coverdale and Bruce Dickenson, and his vocals are decidedly gritty. Torn isn't Evergrey's most ambitious album; nor is it their most essential. But all of the performances are focused and inspired, and Evergrey's emphasis on immediacy yields enjoyably accessible results on this 53-minute disc.

No es por nada pero volviendo a oir el Inner Circle, me doy cuenta que esa historia es bien bien gruesa ... y leyendo un poco las entrevistas que le hicieron a Englund no quiero pensar en Scientolgy por que ahi si es cierto que me frikeo más de lo que ya estoy con una historia de ese tipo ...
Definitivamente fuerte.
